Quality Managers
The role of Quality Manager is one of monitoring and auditing
the load quality of freight in a dock setting. Responsibilities
would include, but not be limited to:
Training of dock personnel in proper loading of freight and
stabilization techniques; auditing load quality so as to reduce
claims and damages; provide quantitative solutions on freight
packaging deficiencies and managing the supply and utilization
of dunnage and specialized equipment.
Minimum Skills:
1 year dock
supervisory experience strong communication skills, attention to
detail, available for evening and night shifts, desire to
provide the highest level of service to our customers. BS/BA
degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or
related business degree a plus.
Ideal Skills:
3 years dock
supervisory experience, excellent communications skills; pays
close attention to detail, BS/BA degree in Logistics or Supply
Chain Management, and the desire to provide the highest level of
service to our customers.
