Position is designed to coordinate the logistics process of automotive part movement through a high volume cross-dock or freight consolidation operation supporting the automotive industry.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Supervision of drivers, computer input, liaison role between plant and corporate management, routing and coordination of scheduled deliveries, management of inventory in coordination with JIT (Just-in-Time) procedures, various reports on timeline and discrepancies.

Minimum Skills:
BA/BS All majors (liberal arts majors are encouraged to apply). Management, Marketing or Logistics degree/experience a plus. Excellent oral or written communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the desire and ability to learn at an accelerated pace.

Ideal Skills:
BA/BS Materials and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Production/Operations or related business degree. Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated trained initiative and leadership skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the desire and ability to learn at an accelerated pace and make immediate contributions.
